Made with special materials such as crushed granite, soapstone, and Venetian plaster, these paintings feature rougher, textured surfaces that playfully interact with light.

Painted with light absorbing matte finishes, these paintings appear very soft to the eye. In some instances, reflective elements appear alongside matte elements for a dynamic effect.

Oragnic shapes and patterns inspired by the natural world, arranged in radial and linear rhythms. These unique patterns are drawn and painted entirely by hand, and no two are the same.

Areas of high reflection and shine are showcased in these paintings. Emphasizing lines and features of the artwork, light dances across the surface of these pieces.

FAQ

Hanging art at home

We produce paintings in several sizes and dimensions, so it’s likely we’ve got a painting that works well in your space. Or you could commission a painting that is custom designed, with dimensions tailored perfectly for your wall!

There is an old saying: “Real art doesn’t match the furniture.” We generally agree with that, and feel that original art looks great because of what it is, independent of its surroundings.

On the other hand, we understand that intentional interior design calls for paintings that work in a given aesthetic. In those cases we recommend commissioning a painting to get the results exactly right.

Hampton Visual attaches hanging hardware to all but the smallest of our paintings. We use sawtooth hangers for small to medium paintings, and D-rings & wire for larger paintings.

Deeper considerations

Abstract art holds tremendous meaning. Born of inspiration, it is developed with intention and emotion. It is offered to the viewer, who brings their own recognition and energy. Harmonies of light and composition become symbolic, and it is the viewer who interprets and understands those symbols.

You don’t have to, but it can be fun to share your thoughts about the work. Just be free and authentic with your description and you can’t go wrong.

It is incredibly special to own something that is truly one of a kind, especially in a world where there is so much sameness everywhere.
